每年一月一日在 Pasadena市, LA那边, 差不多2个小时不到开车
都会举行游行 rose parade

今年CSSA, sdsu,ucsd的中国学生会会在游行之前组织活动
然后看游行

On the morning of Jan.1, 2008, City of Pasadena is going to host the
119th Rose Parade. The Rose Parade boasts a long tradition in the
States, and is typically seen by over 400 million audiences in 85
countries worldwide. If you don't know about Rose Parade or haven't
been to one before, this is the annual New Year extravaganza not to be
missed.

The theme of the coming Rose Parade is "Passport to the World's
Celebrations". And for the first time, the local Chinese community is
going to celebrate with a float featuring the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Now CSSA will extend the celebration to New Year's Eve (Dec. 31) and
host a romantic "CSSA-Rose Night Party" before the parade starts. We
will have many interesting onsite games and give away lots of New Year
gifts. We will also provide tents, food, and drinks.
More details will be released later.

Please come and share a wonderful night with old and new friends.
After the night, our members would have a wonderful spot to view the
parade and cheer for our own float featuring 2008 Beijing Olympic
Games.
